Designing with Type: Book Cover Redesign

I put my passion for design and typography to the test by redesigning one of the textbooks used in my actual typography class. Considering the subject matter, I couldn't look at this cover and leave it alone. I took all the elements from the original cover and revamped it to look more dynamic, more vibrant, and more eye-catching. I also included some typography "terms-to-know" as a little bonus design to the front of the cover that extends to the back.
